When we moved into our new home last year I knew there was one thing that I had to have in my kitchen: a spice drawer. While it seems like a simple want it has been such a game changer for us. I cook a lot during the week so having easy access to all of our spices and seasonings just makes sense. There are so many different designs and styles when it comes to choosing what labels and spice racks to go with, but I knew I wanted to keeps ours minimal. With there being different colors and textures of all the seasonings, having uniformed containers and labels on everything makes your spice drawer feel organized and polished.
I ordered these seasoning jars from Amazon that came with 48 glass spice jars. These spice jars come with their own labels, however I was looking to use a white label with black font to get that minimalistic look. I ended up choosing these labels from Etsy that are water and oil resistant- which is GREAT when it comes to getting messy in the kitchen. There were a lot of different aesthetically pleasing labels on Etsy that come in all different kinds of styles- most are customizable as well! For the spice rack I ended up choosing a clear acrylic 4 tier I found on Amazon. I went with the acrylic organizer so the kitchen drawer wouldn’t seem completely crowded and full to the eye.
I love these spice labels with the illustrations– feeling simplistic and modern! Comes in a set of 20 labels or 40 from Etsy.
From the Marie Kondo x Container Store brand: KonMari, these birch top jars feel simplistic and sophisticated.
This spice jar set comes in all kinds of metal finishes.
