My February Favorites

3.3.23

For the month of February it felt like I LIVED in activewear. I’ve been making it a priority to get on the Peloton almost everyday (still one of the best purchases we’ve ever made) and doing some strength training as well. Outside of constantly wearing leggings and tennis shoes due to working out, it was a pretty chilly month and I always tend to gravitate more towards an oversized sweater with jeans or leggings to stay cozy when I’m staying in. Most of my purchases this month were for the warmer weather months and focusing more on wellness and skincare.

This has almost 3,000 raving reviews and I can totally see why. I wore this Old Navy oversized sweatshirt more times than I could count this last month. From walking the dogs to a casual run to the grocery store, this cozy piece kept me warm and just overall super comfortable. The perfect oversized look and this color is currently on sale!

I have been on the lookout for some new shoes to wear with my white jeans and I love the look of these. The mesh detail and light blue hue give a subtle hint to a spring shoe. Definitely on the wishlist!

Workout sets have been on my radar for some time now. For the most part I wear mixed match clothes to workout in. I have a couple of sets that I like to wear to workout and I just feel so much more put together when I wear them. This set from Athleta is so beautiful! I love the bright color and design of this look.

Finally a micellar water that doesn’t dry out my skin! I didn’t wear too much makeup in the last month, with working from home, so I didn’t always need to deep clean my skin. This has been a game changer for me in my daily skincare routine. I use it in the morning when I wake up (before washing my face), every night before I go to bed (after washing my face), and when I feel like my skin just needs a refresh. The original formula worked great for me many years ago, but overtime my skin barrier changed and got more dry so I had to opt it out of my skincare routine. However this moisturizing micellar water works great with my dry skin!

I have loved the fluffy, natural eyebrow look for what feels like forever but I could never figure out just how to master that look on myself. I’ve always been committed to my Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz, but it was more geared toward the blockier, thicker brow look. So I opted to put the brow wiz down (and the $25 price tag it comes with) and try the NYX brow tint pen. It gives such a natural, full look to the brow in the best way. This pen comes in ten different shades, I use the shade Taupe and am happy to say that there is no undertone of orange anywhere to be found! This product comes in at over HALF the price of my beloved brow wiz. Also it’s SO EASY to work with. Just a flick of the wrist and you’ll have that fluffy brow look!
