Neutrals have always been a staple in my closet and in my opinion, no one does it quite as good as J.Crew. These timeless tones are pieces that I reach for time and time again. Their classic designs and sophisticated silhouettes give off a sense of effortlessness and elegance. The subtle tones in a neutral attire make it easy to add a statement pieces to almost any outfit. A textured raffia bag, delicate gold jewelry, or a pair of colorful sandals, these all can be paired seamlessly with a neutral palette.
Some of my favorite styles have come from layering neutral pieces. Different tones of white, cream and beige paired together create a polished look. Think of Diane Keaton from Something’s Gotta Give – a movie that and has been seared into my brain as having the perfect aesthetic. Her outfits in the film were head to toe cozy neutrals. She always looked put together, smart, and most importantly – comfortable.
