Easter is one of my favorite times to gather with family and celebrate the holiday. It’s one of the few holidays here in Charleston where the weather is quite literally perfect. It’s not too hot or too cold, the flowers are blooming, and we can actually eat al fresco- it’s my favorite. Every year we have a huge Easter family dinner with so, so much delicious food. I’m usually in charge of bringing the deviled eggs and banana pudding- two dishes that are a holiday must in my family. In the spirit of the Easter season, I threw together another tablescape for festive inspiration!
This simple, but beautiful green striped tablecloth makes for a great base layer for a spring tablescape. The sage green and ivory tone colorway make this piece a timeless one for the table. Easily my favorite tabletop piece from this concept is this capiz shell egg platter. Talk about something that looks SO high end! What I love about this platter too is how it can work for any holiday- it’s not floral, too bright in color, and looks like a one of a kind piece. One way to elevate your holiday table is placecards! I also love the intention behind having placecards on the table, showing that there is a spot for everyone. These placecards I found on Etsy are so fun! The design is adorable and comes in many different variations.
