CONCEPT: Little Girl’s Nursery

03.29.23

One of my favorite rooms to design is a nursery. I have so much fun putting sweet spaces together for little ones. There’s a sense of wonderment and whimsy when it comes to picking out everything, I can’t get enough! It’s a space I’ll never get tired of designing. With this concept I wanted to create a relaxing, traditional take while leaning into those coastal, feminine accents that let you know this is a little girl’s space. When it comes to finding a “theme” of a space, I don’t usually have one set thing in mind. I more so want to create a feeling when people enter a room rather than have multiple things catch their attention. Creating a calming space for you and your baby to feel relaxed and at home in is the overall goal for me.

I’ve always been such a fan of this crib from Crate & Barrel and have envisioned so many more spaces with it in mind! The spindle details along with the trim work on the arches make this piece a show stopper.

Such a sweet Amazon find! This little lamb rocker is a great decorative and functional piece to add to any nursery.

This round wavy mirror from Regina Andrew adds that touch of traditional and feminine feel to this space. Here is a dupe that I love just as much!
