December brought so many new found favorites! I had been wanting to revamp a bit in the skincare and makeup department and I found a couple of products that were exactly what I was searching for. My inspiration for home design has been at an all time high with so many spring collections being released (I say this as my Christmas tree stands in front of me as if saying, “Seriously?”). While we may still be coming off the holiday hangover, here are a few things I loved in December:
I’ve been in search of a rich cognac colored boot with a comfortable heel and I found just that. I have always been hesitant with suede on shoes (I hate having to check the weather to wear a certain pair of boots, so limiting!) however these are have a waterproof finish. They have held up perfectly throughout the month as I have worn them almost every other day!
I haven’t tried a new eye product in what feels like FOREVER, but I was wanting some color correcting aspects in my skincare which I didn’t have. All I can say is I have found a staple for my skincare collection. This lightweight formula is the perfect addition for under my eye cream and makes me look so awake! The other best part about this product? The price. So affordable at $24 for an eye serum.
A Christmas present that I was not expecting was the Dyson Airwrap! I have been wanting this for the longest time but never thought I’d be gifted it. It has been such a great tool to use. Since getting this, I haven’t touched any of my hot tools. I’ll be doing a much more in depth post about this product on its own soon- she deserves her own moment.
The new spring collection for Studio McGee & Target has just launched and there are SO many good pieces. One of my favorites is there rattan lamp, which of course sold out like hot cakes, but I also think this standing lamp is such a cool piece to add to a space.
It seems like liquid and cream blushes are everywhere right now. So, naturally, I had to try out a few myself and see what the hype was about. This is my first Rare Beauty product and I’m so impressed! I love the radiant finish it gives- also perfect for that “just came in from the cold” flush of color.
Green is still a color I am finding myself reach for over and over again. I love this throw to refresh your space after the holidays when it seems like all the green is gone! Keep that lively color with an accent like this pillow.
Keeping with the spring and summer outlook- I love this piece from Idyll Collective. There are coastal pieces all over my home and this would be the perfect addition to one of my bathrooms.
