Jordan and I finally got around to checking out Sullivan’s Fish Camp on Sullivan’s Island. It had been on our list for quite some time, and to say the least: it was worth the wait.

One of the best dining room atmospheres in Charleston. Truly feels like you have been immersed in the lifestyle of an old style fish camp. From the wood paneling on the bar to the vintage nautical artwork on the walls, you will feel like you have been transported back into 1970s surrounded by your close friends.

We started with the tuna poke nachos. This was by far my favorite part of the entire meal. My favorite part of most meals is usually the appetizer and this was no exception. I have never had tuna poke in the style of “nachos” but it was not only practical (everything is constructed for you ready to go) but also absolutely delicious. The cucumbers add a nice refreshing taste to the dish in combination with all the flavors of the maui marinade tuna and dynamite sauce.

The Maine Lobster Roll was served with BBQ chips and a side salad. It was the perfect amount of food and very tasty. I was a big fan of the buttery bread roll. Jordan had the Fish Camp Sandwich which was also super yummy and flavorful!
Sullivan’s Fish Camp is a great place to stop in after a day at the beach for a quick lunch or for an upscale seafood dinner in the evening. We can’t wait to go back for a date night and recommend this place to everyone that is a lover of seafood and is in the Charleston area!
