For me there’s no pick-me up quite like a trip to Ulta to grab some new products. I tend to always go in only needing one or two necessities, when before I know it I’m in the checkout line with an arm full things that I didn’t intend on buying but just had to try. Here are a few new products that I’ve tried out lately:
This recent purchase is probably what I’m most excited for and have used almost everyday since getting it. The Feelin’ Bubbly by ColourPop eyeshadow palette is not only has great warm autumnal shadows, but it also works so well on the eye by blending seamlessly. I reach for this when I’m looking to add a bit more to my makeup while still wanting a natural look.
An oldie, but a goodie, the L’OREAL Double Extend mascara is one that I will always come back to. I love the length this mascara gives and of course that it already comes with an eyelash primer is a huge bonus. I have been struggling with taking off my makeup at the end of the day and thinking I’m being too harsh on my lashes. I’ve always felt like this mascara does the least amount of damage to my lashes when taking it off because it requires no excessive rubbing, it comes off in tubes! Protecting your lashes and eyes from harsh and unnecessary pulling and tugging.
I’m definitely guilty of having way too many lip products in my purse at all times and not actually wearing them. I tend to find colors that I’m drawn to while just browsing the store and just absentmindedly throwing them into my cart and end up loving them when I wear them. This one from Anastasia Beverly Hills in Hazelnut is no exception. The warm rosey brown tone is beautiful as a lip combo or just on its own.
Another classic, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in Chocolate. This is a great product to overall warm up the face and blends great with other products on top of it. I always go to this when I need that bronze that won’t disappoint.
