Over the years I have collected a range of different terra-cotta pots from all over. I think it’s fun to pick up the ones that catch your eye place to place. Not only is it a beautiful piece of pottery but it also carries with it the memory of where you were when you got it. We mainly use the terra-cotta style pots and planters in our outdoor spaces. I love the wear and effects the sun and the natural elements has on terra-cotta. Whereas we use the more neutral, plaster look within our home. These larger, heavier pieces I like to place on an entry table, on the shelf of a built-in, or your dining room table. The softness of the color mixed with the roughness and heaviness of the texture makes these vases great to add room to room. The charming and rustic designs of pots and planters can create so much character to your indoor or outdoor space. Here are a few ones that I love:
