The Biltmore has always held a special place to me. The serene landscape with rollings hills and the beautiful home of George Vanderbilt. My favorite time to visit is during Christmas when the house is decorated and Antler Village is covered in Christmas lights. One excursion that I also enjoy is walking through the elaborate gardens during the spring and summer time. There’s an array of different flowers, trees, and plants all in full bloom and painted in stunning colors. The gardens and the grounds are so large, I would recommend setting aside half a day to take your time to go through them and take in all they have to offer. The experience is so peaceful, it is something that I yearn for when I go to Asheville: I must go to the gardens and see what they have planted this season!
