This year for my birthday my husband surprised me with a staycation at Hotel Bennett in Downtown Charleston! I have loved this boutique hotel since I went last fall for a bridal shower in their Champagne Lounge, Cameillas.
The location of The Bennett couldn’t be more convenient as it is centrally located on King St. and next to all the shopping! Walking in I found the aesthetic charming and inviting; definitely fitting for Charleston. From when we pulled up to when we left, we were constantly greeted by genuine smiles from the staff who were extremely helpful with any and all questions. After checking in, we wandered up to our room where we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a stunning view of Marion Square! Can you spot the rainbow in the picture below? For dinner we ventured downstairs for our reservations at Gabrielle. The beef carpaccio and the tuna tartare were two of our favorite dishes of the night. The following morning Jordan had booked me a reservation at The Spa for an hour massage; the Cameillas Classic is what I got! Dana, my masseuse, made sure I was comfortable and offered me a glass of chilled champagne upon arrival. The luxurious locker room had a calming presence with dimmed lights and dark mahogany wood tones.
I look forward to going back to The Spa at The Bennett and highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is visiting Charleston!
